Don't you love getting new learning tools to use? Well I do and this is one of our new learning tools that we can access online and I have been really enjoying it. So I have created a DLO to share some of the main features about it.





My reflection.
I have really enjoyed creating this and I am proud of my DLO.
I think one thing that I could have done better is maybe created a video as well of me sharing more about it.
I have started to always make my DLOs first now for my Blogs I find it a lot easier and I think that I ill continue doing it.

Home Leaning Fitness

Hey Bloggers! Welcome !

Today I will be doing a small bit of fitness for my home learning blog. I have gathered one of my friends to do it with me. We live around a few shops and stores so it will be interesting to find where we will end up. The rules are that we are going follow. We will only go straight or follow the footpath. We cant go through shops. If you are going to do this please take a parent.

My Reflection.

I think that this was a very cool idea and I like the way we marked we we had gone. I really enjoyed doing this and I am happy with the way we presented it. This has been one of my favorite home learning blogs so far. If you had to guess were you would end up if you took a 5 to 10 minute walk where would it be. I think something better I would do it to take photos.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO SIGN OUT

Hey bloggers!
Over the past four or five weeks me and My class Rimu have been working with Mrs Morgan from Uru Manuka . We all  have learnt alot about animations and how we can make them better! I have enjoyed working with her because I always find it super interesting to learn more things about my computer so I can do my work more easily.
Here is one of my animations  I have created to show why you should sign out of your computer every time .



What I did Well? I really enjoyed creating this DLO and I think that this will be an interesting blog that others will enjoy. I am glad that I used only my images in my animation with makes it only connect with me.
What I Should Improve? I'm Not sure I would love to hear what you think I could improve on in the comments.
What I did Differently?  I don't usually share animations as my DLOS and I think that this is something new for me.

How Well Do You And I Know Our Computers?

We have been working with Miss Morgan for the past 4 or 5 weeks to learn a lot more about our chromebooks and what we can do with them. This is some of our work.
Today I will be sharing my presentation about what your desktop looks like and what the buttons on it do. Also some of the buttons on our keyboard and a whole heap of keyboard shortcuts to quicken up your work and make things a lot easier.

What I think I have done well? I am proud of my answers and how they are easier for others to understand.
What I think I can Improve on? I think that I didn't do this in the time given and I think that I should have.
What is Something I tried Differently? I really enjoyed writing everything first before putting in the DLO. OS that way it is better to understand for me

 Something that I learnt was that you can close down tabs by clicking on the touchpad with three fingers.

Which is Bigger????

What is bigger? hmmmm? What does this mean well today's blog will be focused around maths! There are do many different types of maths just like there is many different styles of writing. But  today I will show you how to tell which number is bigger out of two 8 digit numbers so you can do then really quickly.

I Think that I have created this well because I have really gotten straight to the point with my DLO. I think that it looks creative and doesn't get to complicated. I hope that is easier to read for you all One thing that I tried differently today was creating my DLO first before writing I think that it has saved me time I think this because it is less stressful switching between writing and creating.I  think that I might do this again. I am also proud of the amount of time I have done this in and it is still a quality blog post. I think another way I have saved time in this blog is to make my own images and things so I don't need to waste time using sources and writing them all down even though it is good to use other images sometimes.

Who Are You? Who am I?

Have You wondered who you are?

What are your strengths and weaknesses. Well some of you may know that I have posted something like this before.

I have shared some of my quiz results on my blog. I really enjoyed doing that.

But for writing time today we went around finding quotes about us, how they represent us and  we have turned it it a google drawing. I really like how it looks and I am very proud of it. I feel like we all have a favorite quote or just one that sticks with us. Mine has always been " when words fail music speaks".

My DLO.

I really enjoyed making this and I think that it has been a very good idea to learn about us and other students in our class. I found it really hard to fun the right quotes that will say the right things and fit into my google drawing nicely. I found the best way to  make them fit properly is to crop then or shape them so  just the words show. I am also happy that I changed all of the colours of the images to black and white so all of it matches and it  looks creative.

Pay It Forward

What is paying it forward? Well it is like doing something nice for someone so they do it to other then others do it to others. It makes everyone feel so much better about everything and can make someone's entire day. Here are some youtube videos to help you understand more. One, Two, Three.








I really enjoyed making this. But at the time I was doing such things as paying it forward it would have been a very good idea to take some photos. I found it very fun to share the importance of paying it forward. It reminds me the quote " You cant change the world from one person but you can change the world for one person". I also had a lot of fun creating the colours on the different slides.

Welcome To Another one of my home learning blog.

I have created a DLO to share all of the learning for this home blog post. I have really enjoyed making this because I got to test out some of my maths skills and I also got to share it in an interesting way.

I think that I mead every slide on the DLO interesting with new fonts and different colours. I think that it looks very interesting and I am very excited to share it. There are some ways I could improve now that I am looking back on it. In think that one of the ways I could is to of taken a video or photo.

Are you struggling with making a blog post? Well I was too! But I have 6 super tips to make your blog even better!

I have been learning about this for a while with my class. I have always understood the concept but now I think I understand it enough to share it with you and others. What I hope is going to happen from doing this blog is that you could teach others about this or teach others while making a blog using this teqneice. Also known as pay it forward! So basically this is a blog about making a blog :)

 

 My Reflection on my work.

Unlike google slides I don't usually like to present things on google drawings because it is only one base screen and you have less room to work with. I do like to use it to make better portrait pictures and then add them to something like a presentation but I want to try to use more things to make DLOS. I want to use a canva or a biteable! I really am proud of the google drawing because it is exciting and explains the point clear.
