Matariki Kites Task Three

Kia Ora!
Welcome back to my blog!

Back at it again with another Matariki matrix blog post!
This blog is going to be about the Matariki kites and how they represent Matariki and what it means. These Kites are a bit different then normal kites and we have one that looks like a Maori kite in one of our classes.

I really enjoyed making this it was awesome to understand what it means to use these kites.
I am going to be sharing a few things that I have learnt after I have researched all about the Matariki Kites. I have also been looking into the different types of kites.

I have made a short DLO getting straight to the point on what I learnt about these kites, I found out most of my infomation using a piece of text ( Link ) and then thinking and researching further into this. There's a lot of different

My Reflection.
I Think that I have created this very well this is because I got straight into the point and I understood everything really well. I also think that this is a good way to share this and I think that it would be a great idea for you guys to pass on the message about the Matariki kites to share about others cultures.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope you all come back again soon. Did you learn something new? I hope you enjoyed it and I would love to see some of your guys comments!

Matariki Matrix Activity Two! The Matariki Stars!

Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog! This is another one of the Matariki work I have been working on!

Stars.... but these are not just normal stars but the amazing nine stars of Matariki but wait theres more I have coloured them in and made the stars look like what they mean, If you would like to see this click the DLO below

What do each of the stars mean, Link, Click that to get more infomation and detail about each one of
I have really enjoyed this on, I feel like this because it gave me a chance to be super creative and show how I see the Matariki stars and how I can make them my own.

I have made sure that they are all represented correctly and that its bright colourful and fun. My favorite star I made was 8. This is because I think that it is shared in a simple way but you can understand it easier then the others without reading about it first.

What I learnt! Well of course I learnt about what each of the stars mean but to go into more detail I now understand and know how to show what they mean. I now understand why Matariki is so important and how each star shines very brightly.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog, again keep an eye out for all of the other Matariki blogs that will be coming, to give you a clue ( the next one will have something to do withhhhhhhh Kites! ) How have you been celebrating Matariki? Do you have a favorite star? What was your favorite star that I made?
