Just before I get into this weeks blog post please remember to stay home and stay safe.
Don't you love getting new learning tools to use? Well I do and this is one of our new learning tools that we can access online and I have been really enjoying it. So I have created a DLO to share some of the main features about it.
My reflection.
I have really enjoyed creating this and I am proud of my DLO.
I think one thing that I could have done better is maybe created a video as well of me sharing more about it.
I have started to always make my DLOs first now for my Blogs I find it a lot easier and I think that I ill continue doing it.

ReplyDeleteSo a DLO is a Digital Learning Object. There are so many acronyms in the world that I sometimes have trouble keeping up with them. For instance: A TLA is a three letter acronym and an ETLA is an extended three letter acronym.
I am looking forward to how you are going to utilise your ability with DLOs to entertain and inform over the coming weeks.
I think it is a nice touch how you began this post by showing your concern for others.

ReplyDeleteThanks for creating a DLO about Newslea. I've never heard of it but I can see from your DLO that you like it. I think it is a good idea to practise your comprehension and vocab skills.
I also thought it was great that you instructed us all to stay safe. How are you doing with being at home all the time? I can imagine that you and your friends have some funny online times together, giggling away. Am I right?

ReplyDeleteI liked the way your DLO told me about all the different things you can do on Newsela, even though I know it all already.
This reminds me of when I first used Newsela, yet I don't think I've blogged about it before.
To improve, maybe you could use a few more splashes of colour, on your blog everything seems dark and scary. Also make sure to reread before you post, I think I noticed a few errors in there.
Why did you choose to blog about Newsela?
