End Of Year!

 Kia Ora!

The year is slowly coming to an end! I have been at this school since I was 5 years old! This will be my very last year at Yaldhurst Model School. This end of year assembly is very important! It's going to be the closing of my Yaldhurst journey. The year 8s have been working on so much stuff to bring to this assembly.

One of the many things that we have all been working on is a photo collage. So what we have done is found so many old pictures of each other and then some of us now!

We have put them together in one google drawing to share with everyone I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! whether this is going to be my last post im not sure but if it is then thank you all again for coming with me on this blogging journey and now I will always have this blog to look back on some of the things that have happened in Yaldhurst Model School. How has your year been?

  1. Kia Ora Maddie,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

I saw your post and think it looks outstanding! You’ve done an incredible job with your collage of photos! Yaldhurst Model School has certainly given you heaps of happy memories that you’ll remember fondly as you embark on the next step of your journey. I particularly like your photo wearing a furry animal head! It looks a bit like a rabbit or a squirrel! What animal is it? There’s certainly an intriguing story behind that photo, I’d love to hear about it if you’re willing to share!

It can be a little sad moving schools, but I’m sure you’ll absolutely love it! You’ll make so many more new friends and new memories as well! When I was little, I used to go to Yaldhurst too. Eventually I also moved schools but the friends I made there I still hear from today! Not to mention all the cool memories I have from being there like swimming in the pool and hanging upside down on the monkey bars with my friends! What are some of your favourite memories from Yaldhurst?

I think you’ve done an incredible job, and wish you luck at the last assembly and all the best for next year!

    Noho Ora Mai,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Kia ora Maddie,

It is a long journey and is a little sad that you will be ending this journey. I think your pictures really capture your time at YMS. I remember you as an adorable, hard working, happy 5 year old. You loved learning and were so pleased to be at school. Now you are Year 8 and ready for high school. That time has flown so fast, which I'm sure your parents will be feeling too.

I look forward to seeing you at the final assembly.
