Math Learning Diary.

Kia Ora!
Welcome,

Today i will be sharing something with you that I have been focusing on for the past few days.
I have created a Math Learning Diary.

This means that I have gone back through all of my wok book around the past term.
I have written down how I think I have gone with it and why I think that. Next I went back through and did some learning games to refresh my memory of all of the things that I have been learning.
I really did find this interesting and I liked to see my strengths and weaknesses around maths.

I think that My strength in math ewas rounding decimals. I have played one of rounding decimal games and I still think that I have mastered this subject. I haven't gotten any answers wrong and I am extremely proud of that.

My favorite subject in math is dividing decimals. I enjoy this because I find it a challenge but not too much of a challenge and I really like that. I was working on this subject last week and the reason I really enjoyed this is because I really enjoy doing the chunking method which is used very much in this technique.

What is the chunking method?
It is where you use times tables to divide.
You use multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.

I hope you enjoy my math diary!

Thank you all for coming onto my blog!
I am really grateful!
I Really hope you all will come onto my blog again and please leave a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment I love to read them and I will respond asap!
Again Thanks!

Critical Learning

Kia Ora!
Welcome!

Today I will be sharing with you some of my critical learning around the boy and the striped pajamas.
I have done multiple blogs about this topic and I am super excited to share with you some of my work.

I have been working with some classmates and we have all talked about some of the questions about the story that we found important. We have created a way to share our questions and answers and I have also done an activity to prove one of my points more.
We call this critical learning.

My favorite part about this was thinking deeper into some of my favorite questions about the book understanding all of the text and the hidden things inside.
I really enjoyed creating the image to prove my point and I am also really proud of it.
I found it challenges with question three I found it hard to think deeper into that question but I am proud that I overcome that challenge.

Thank you all for coming onto my blog and I hope to see you all here again soon.
Please leave a positive thoughtful helpful comment about my work and I will read and reply to all of them!
Thank You!

Poems! Family

Kia Ora!
Welcome!

Today I will be sharing with you my poem that I have done.

I have created a free verse poem. This poem is a lot different form any other poem that you have read. Free verse have not poems or rhymes. There are some pros and cons while wearing this but I really had fun.
Free verse are almost like a story but they aren't they usually tell a story but not always. We read a poem about a poem and we got that ideras. We all created two poems now both very different.

We have also done some research on two different types of poem writers and then we used on of there layouts and created our own poem.
Both of these poets have one thing in common. they are both performance poets. They all film their work and use different ways to make it real well. They use peo[ and their voice and their emotions to create an interesting story and they do it so well you can hardly look away.

I have created a slide with images and my poem and have given performance poetry a try and filmed myself reading it.

Thanks you so much and come on my blog again please.
What is your favorite type of poem?
What do you think I can improve on. Leave a comment down below and I will reply to all of them!
Thank you so much!

I am really excited to share it and I hope you all enjoyed. Click the answer that you want and it will take you to the slide you want to go to.

We have been working on this for three weeks and It need to be entered in of friday the 20th.
My favorite part was creating the story line and all of the images it was really hard at times but I am really proud of my work.
I found it challenging to make sure that everything make sense throughout the pick a path.

Home Learning Book Report!

Kia Ora!
Welcome!

Today I will be sharing with you all my book report on a book I have been pushing on a lot reaspintly.
If you have seen some of my recent blog post you could guess which one it is.

I have created a google slide sharing my report on the book. I have included the title of the book along with the author and I have used a layout that we used last year to shape my book report better and I have added in how I felt about the book.

My favorite part was finding interesting quotes for the book, I liked this because I go to find out my favorite parts of the story and then share them. I found it challenging to pick and choose only a few items of each part because I really want to add in a lot of things and it was hard to cut them down.

Thanks!
I really appreciate you coming onto my blog and would love to see you all here again. Please leave a Positive, Thoughtful, Helpful comment and I will be sure to read all of the.
What did you think about my slide? How can I improve?

Auschwitz ( The Boy In The Striped Pajamas )

Kia Ora!
Welcome!

Today was the last day for the novel study ( The Boy In The Striped Pajamas ) had to be finished. SO I gotta create an extra activity based on some of the things I have learnt about in the book. I have looked in deeper around Alfdorf Hitler and The concentration camp mentioned a lot in the book ( Auschwitz)
I have learnt about a lot of the things that were mention about in the book but because the Two main characters were young and not very sure what was going on lots of bits and pieces were missing.

I have made a small google drawing discussing the main 6 points in the story and the deeper meaning of these three things. Such as some of the charters and some of the events that occurred.
I found some of the facts and info really interesting and sad. I am glad that we learnt from our mistakes and are now not like that.

My favorite part was digging deeper in my favorite parts of the story and sharing them with you all.
I found it challenging to simplify the words that I read and turn them into my own.

-ENJOY!

Thank you all for coming onto my blog. Have you heard about some of this info? Have you read the book?
You can go to the camp Auschwitz and go for a tour.
I really can't wait for some of your feedback!
Thank you all again!

Kia Ora!
Welcome Back!

Today I will be sharing a small quick slide I have made to share with you some of my reading work.
If you have seen some of my other reading blogs then you will know what I am talking about if not I will explain. I have been doing some novel study around the book The Boy In The Striped Pajamas . I will be sharing the two responses I have done over the past 4 chapters.
Those chapters have made many questions pop up but also close some as well.

my favorite part about novel study is reading the book because I have always really enjoyed
reading and I really liked creating pictures based around the book and the chapters I have read.
We also have to answer lots of questions which helps me understand the book more.
I have really enjoyed Novel study and I am super sad that it is sadly coming to an end this friday but
I would recommend this book so much it really is amazing and I think that it should be shared more
and if you have read it what is your favorite part?

Enjoy!

Thank you all for coming onto my blog. I would really appreciate some comments
on what you thought about the book and some of my responses. I really hope you come

I loved listening to the story of what she was inspired by and how she got into writing children's books from her daughter and always reading them to her. She got inspired to write her first book every second she got and they sold out so quickly.
