I found this a very interesting and something I haven't really looked into before. I made some good guesses I think and I also think that I did guess some parts correctly.

Thank you all very very much for coming onto my blog. I would love it very much for you to come back again. I hope you all enjoyed my blog! Can't wait to read all of your amazing comments!

  1. Kia ora Maddie,

Thank you for sharing this interesting information. I really loved how you shared your thinking first and then your research. You were very close. I remember learning about chlorophyll in high school science in Year 9. Isn't it amazing what is embeded into plants DNA that makes these things happen. I can't remember why every green trees don't change colour. Maybe they have less chlorophyll?

The trees in our area and house are changing colour. Some more quickly than others. The leaves are falling and I see many neighbours trying to get rid of all the leaves as they fall. I think it is a pointless exercise as they just keep on falling. I just wait for the wind to blow them all away.

    Thanks for sharing Maddie,
    :) Mrs Spragg

Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog.
I think it is very amazing what is in leaves and plants aswell. Its strange how things like this work though.

Yes I think that it is also very pointless, I personally love how the fall leaves look when they are on the ground.
Do you prefer the green leaves or the fiery colours?
Whats your favorite season in the weather?

  2. Hello Maddie, it's me, your editing buddy!

I liked the way your title was colourful and pretty, and it matched the whole leafy theme.

This reminds me of when I wrote about that, its cool that we are writing about some of the topics.

To improve, maybe on the right side of the title you could add some fallen leaves to make it look more like autumn/winter. Also please check up on some of your grammar and spelling.

What is your favourite time of the year?
    Mine is probably spring!

Cya later Maddie, keep it up!

Thank you so much for coming onto my blog :).
Yes I agree that it is cool that we are researching and learning about the same topics.

I think that it would look better if I did do that with the leaves and I think that would look so cool thank you so much for the feedback :)
My favorite time in the year would probably be fall because I love how sometimes it is a little chilly and sometime its warm.
Why do you like spring more?

  3. Hi Maddison-Judith

How wonderful to see you approaching this task like a scientist.

One of the most important parts of learning is being able to question our assumptions. Sometimes we may not even remember why we thought something for so long.

And then we never stop learning. For instance I empty out the coffee grounds with some water into our compost heap each day. I used to get frustrated as there would always be some grounds left stuck in the canister. Then my brother showed me that if I made the water swirl before tipping it out then all of the grounds would come out.

The really embarrassing thing about this was that I am 58 and he is 72. I guess we are never too old to learn.

Thank you so much for coming onto my blog.

I never knew that about coffee either , I usually scoop the coffee grounds out with a spoon but that is a really good way to do that thank you for sharing that with me.

Whats your favorite time of the year?
