End Of Year!

 Kia Ora!

The year is slowly coming to an end! I have been at this school since I was 5 years old! This will be my very last year at Yaldhurst Model School. This end of year assembly is very important! It's going to be the closing of my Yaldhurst journey. The year 8s have been working on so much stuff to bring to this assembly.

One of the many things that we have all been working on is a photo collage. So what we have done is found so many old pictures of each other and then some of us now!

We have put them together in one google drawing to share with everyone I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! whether this is going to be my last post im not sure but if it is then thank you all again for coming with me on this blogging journey and now I will always have this blog to look back on some of the things that have happened in Yaldhurst Model School. How has your year been?

Why Does Your Nose Hurt When You Jump Into Water?

Kia Ora

Have you ever gotten a sharp pain in your nose when you jump into the water? Maybe you have tried to do some type of special swimming pool trick and ended up with water flooding up your nose.  Sometimes I get thrown off going into the pool again because of it. It hurts super bad.Have you ever wondered why that has happened? Well I am here to explain it to you today and how to prevent it from happening in the future.

YOUR NOSE IS SENSITIVE!

Something small such as water hat may not hurt any other part of your body at all can really damage your nose. Water also doesn't help this is because  it can be very cold and the indies of your nose is super warm, the instant cool down causes alot of pain!

Did You Know?

Did you know that there is actually a lot of water in our noses and the rest of our bodys? This water is a lot different than things you drink though. The water in our body is actually mixed with a lot of salt! Yes Salt! This is why when this type of water enters your nose it can still sting. Did you also know that your nose creates mucus to get rid of the bad things in your nose! YUCK!!

How Can You Prevent This?

Well Breath out as you jump into the water to make sure no water comes into your nose.Or you could hold your nose as you jump into the pool. But don't stress too much the pain won't stay for too long and its not a very serious thing.

Thank you all for coming onto my blog! Do you have any wonderings? I do mine is Why do we cry when we're sad. Do you have any idea why that is? Have you had an experience like this? Let Me Know.

News Report On Athletics

 Kai Ora!

Welcome To My Blog!

Today I have been learning all about newsreptors and the how to read the news that is online. On a regular news site you can find things like the... Headline,Section Title,Date,Comments,Byline and so on. If the news site your reading doesn't have these things then its more than likely a fake news site and you should get off there immediately. Our Uru Manuka Cluster have been earning all about these things with Miss Morgan.  Link to Uru Manuka Site. I will be writing a news report on Athletics! Me and my school had this happened last Friday.

What is the Headline? The Headline is like a title at the beginning of something. What is the Byline? The byline is who it is written by. What is the Comments? These are the same as what are on Blogs. What is Sponsored Content? This is when people pay to have their ads shown. What is related Content? This is content that have similarities to the things your reading! What is the URL? This is the one of a kind link to the site your on.

Rimus Athletics!

Written By Maddie on 3/11/20

ATHLETICS!!!
This was held on the third week of the term. There was 5 activities that everyone ( other than two people because they cant run ) had to participate in. We had been practicing for a long time before this event learning all of the tips and tricks to challenge ourselves further and try to get the goal of getting into zones. A lot of us were discouraged by the standards we all had but we all gave it a go. First we did sprints year 8s had 60 meters and 100 meters to run! The most shocking thing I did was in shot put and high jump. I made 1.5 meters on high jump whitch was just short of what I needed for Zones. Shot put I was proud of because I id a lot better than in my practices. We all had to wear out house colors and the house leaders got to hold the house relays. The seniors of the school got to race against the parents and the teachers in their own relays! Overall we had an awesome day and its sad to think that this is the last  time year 8s get to have athletics in Yaldhurst Model School.

Thank you all for coming onto my blog! Please come again! I would love to read some of your comments! I hope you all enjoyed and learned something by reading this post . What's your favorite sport? Do you play any sports on the weekends? What's your best  athletic strength ?

NYLD!

 Kia Ora!

Welcome back to my blog!

Do you guys know what NYLD is? Well if you don't this stands for National Young Leaders Day! This is where tons of different schools come together to learn and to see a whole heap of leaders  you get to listen to them in what they do and they can teach you all sorts of things to help you become a leader!

It is all super fun and you get to participate i all the crazy games and even throw a giant beach ball around the room! I KNOW AWESOME RIGHT! NYLD was definitely a time I could never forget and I am so glad I got to hear and learn about all of those people.

Reflection! I think that NYLD was an awesome time to spend the day with all of the yelling and singing and just having fun even though my throat has become pretty sore. I really enjoyed seeing all of us on the huge TV with all of our school waving! My favorite part was listening to all of the speakers and the giant beach balls which is an NYLD tradition.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog and I hope you come back here again! I hope that you have all learnt something today! Have you ever been to NYLD? If not do you want to? If so what was your favorite part.

The Whispers

Welcome to my blog!

Thank you all for coming. Today I will be sharing with you all a review of a book that I am reading this book is called The Whispers  by Greg Howard. I have written this review because I think that it is an amazing book especially if your into magical things or things that are supernatural. I would definitely recommend it. There are alot of other important topics and life lessons that have been taught in the book aswell.

My Reflection! I am super happy I have read this book and I am also really proud that I have went outside of the box because I don't usually read books like this and I decided to give it ago because it reminded me of the last book I read called the list. I really hope I can make more blogs about this in the future and I am definitely going to read more books like this one or even some more from Greg Howard!

Thank you all for coming onto my blog and I hope to see you all here again!

Have you heard of Greg Howard? Do you enjoy reading? What are your favorite types of books to read?

LCS Different Types Of Media

 Kai Ora!

Welcome back to my blog!

Today we have all been learning about the three different types of media and how we can find these around us. We did this with Mrs Morgan who is apart of the Uru Manuka Cluster. Click here to see their site. LINK  .The first type of media is called Print Media the second Broadcasting Media and the third ONline Media. All of us use some type of media each day wwe either see it or hear it or even look it uo on our devices. Media is a super easy way to connect with tons of different people from across the entire world. Here is my DLO to explain the different things.

Media Meaning;A world wide way to instantly connect to people. 24/7/365.

My Reflection!  I think that this went really well and I find it super cool to see all of the different types of media and how they are constantly around us. I also see that media has become a big part of all of our lives we constantly have it around us whether its digital or not. Media is an interesting thing.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope you all learned something and found it as interesting as I did. Please come back here again soo. What did you learn? What media do you use the most? What media is the most useful in you opinion?

Cybersmart! Being Kind!

 Kia Ora!

Welcome back to my blog!

Today me and the rest of Rimu have been learning all about Kindness and how others have shown it and how we can too. Even in just small ways we can make a huge difference. We played this game where one of us said some hurtful things and the other only responded with things that were kind to see how the bully couldning continue anymore. I think this is a great way to share this considering that pink shirt day will be coming up soon, Click this link to see where we got this work from (Uru Manuka Web ) LINK!

Ways to be kind! TRY SOME!

My Reflection!

I think that this was an awesome thing to work on! I think that we learnt some good tips that could help us and others in the future. I really enjoyed the idea of this and doing the research and learning about how others have been kind and what we can do to help others or to make someone's day.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope you learnt something new or found this as interesting as I did. Please come back again! Are you going to participate in pink shirt day? Have you before? Have you had a case where you stood up to a bully? I would love to know.

Camp Series Three: Bealey Spurr

 Kia Ora Welcome Back!

This is yet another camp post! What is Bealey Spur? This is a 12 hour hike! We only went up half way though because we were and hour and a half late to get out there because of the snowy conditions further up the track. I think that is a thing we really needed to improve on  organising our gear. I think this because it would of helped up a lot if we all worked together and got everything done so then we would have been able to get more activities done and derived more out of them. We had to stop a few times along the way for everyone to catch up!

I think that I did really well. I actually really enjoyed it because it gave me time to reflect on everything. The hike was very challenging but I am really glad that I did do it and that I got through it. Now I look back I realise it was really fun! Playing in the snow and all of the delicious food helped along the way. It was hard getting up because almost all of it was uphill and that was really challenging compared to the smaller hike that we completed the day before.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope that you come back to read and hear about all of the different things my classe did on camp. There will be two more blogs about camp coming up soon! I hope that you all come here to learn about the great adventures I had with my class on camp. I am really excited to share these things with you! Have you ever been on a hike?  If so where?  What was the most challenging part?  Did you originally know what Bealey Spur was before you stated reading?

Camp Series Two: Devil's PunchBowl

 Kia Ora!

Welcome to my blog!

After we went to Castle Hill and started to unpack everything we went off on a small hike called the Devil's Punchbowl. There were so many steps that we all had to climb up. This was a great way to get us going after we had just been on a bus for a few hours. We were surrounded by snow covered bush and native trees. One of the coolest things was crossing all of the bridges. There was so many mountains around us with tons of rocks and snow. Once we got up there we got greeted with a platform looking directly onto a huge gorgeous waterfall with crystal clear water and grey slippery rocks.

Reflection!
I think that this was one of the highlights of camp for me, This is because the view was stunning and there was some amazing sights as we were walking up the hill aswell. I think it was amazing to see all of the snow and all of the animals. I think I would go back there again and get a better look at the waterfall. Im curious on why its called Devils Punchbowl.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! Have you ever seen something like this? Where? How did it make you feel? Would this experience stand out to you or would this be something normal for you? Thanks again and let me know!

Camp Post Series - One Castle Hill

Kia Ora!
Welcome To my blog.

Me and my class Rimu went along all the way over to Author's Pass for 3 day and 2 nights. On that period of time a lot of activities and events took place. I will be sharing 5 of those activities/events of the course of 5 days. Today is going to be the first one and the second will be out tomorrow. 6 parents came along as parent help and we also had our two wonderful instructors with us.

What is Castle Hill? Castle hill is a rocky wonderland that we stopped on while we were driving up there ( we went on bus ). We stopped at Castle Hill to eat our morning tea. While we were there we went on a little walk and got to play around in all of the snow and on all of the rocks. It was beautiful. The only downside is that the bus driver was a little upset with up because we came back half and hour later then what we needed to be  causing him to be late OOPS.

My Reflection on this.
I think that Castle hill will be one of my most memorable parts of camp this is because it was the first thing that we did as a group other than  the bus ride up to Arthur's Pass. I also think I would remember it because it would have been the first time in a very long time that I have seen that much snow in one place. I had an amazing time playing with snow and talking with friends it was an awesome way to start of our camp as a class.

Thank you all for coming onto my blog! I hope you all come back tomorrow to see the next part of the series. We went on quite a long bus ride getting up there what is the longest bus ride you have been on? Mine was 10 hours coming back up from down south. Do you like the snow? or are you more of a summery person because I feel like everyone is a winter person until winter actual comes. What was the first thing that came to mind when your read Castle Hill? What did you think it was? Were you correct?

Equality

Kia Ora!
Welcome back to my blog!
Equality... Equality... Equality... Well this word may mean something different to each person reading this. I personally am very passionate about this topic therefore I desided to write my speech for 2020 based on this.

I am apart of the competitive speakers so I can get the chance to speak at zones and in front of the school. Today I presented my speech and now I am making sure I reflect on both the content and presentation. I am happy it is all over now and I think that I have done a lot better than I have ever done before with all of the other speeches I have done.

I haven't been nervous at all coming up to speeches but once I got up there and the few minutes before hand I started to shake and sweat a little. I could feel the red stings in my face as I began to read. I stuttered a little bit at times and forgot some of my speech making me have to look down alot and read off of my cue cards. I am happy though that I moved around a bit and have used some gestures as I was speaking. I am also proud that I kept my cool for the past couple of days. I wish that I learnt my speech a bit better. If I had the chance that's what I would improve on.

Thank you all for coming onto my blog! Thank you even more to have read this far down my blog. Please come back again sometimes and I would love to read some of your comments.
Have you done a speech? How did you feel? Do you like public speaking?

I Have A Dream

Kia Ora

In Rimu we are going to be learning about speeches again this year. We do speeches every year at Yaldhurst. When I found out we were going to be doing speeches soon I was super excited because I usually do really well in speeches and I find it really fun. Before we went into learning about speeches and creating them we have a task to do to make sure our brain was ready for this.We did this by using the 6 mental toughness tools to create a motivational picture to give us hope and to make everything easier. This is my DLO Below.
My dream for how speeches will go is that I improve from last year this means that I don't get nervous or don't get too nervous and to use movement in my presentation this is what I am not the best at.

While I was creating this I was thinking about how this will help me in the future, what I wanted my visualisation to be and what I might need to motivate me for when I do my speedces.
The hardest part for me during speeches is going to be presenting in front of other people and making sure I don't become too scared and aing sure my voice is clear.
The easiest part of this for me is going to be writing and improving my speech because I am a strong writer and always make sure my words are powerful and that my speech makes sense.
I chose these tips for myself because I am going to need these things said to me while im writing or about to present my speech.

Have you ever written a speech before ? What was it about? What would/has been the biggest struggle for you during speeches?

If you are planning on writing a comment on my blog you can use these sentence starters.
Positive- I liked the way you...
Thoughtful- You taught me....
Helpful- I noticed that....
Thanks, Maddie!

How Would You Like To Be A Judge?

Kia Ora!
Welcome to my blog!

Mysteries, Poems and News reports!
What does this mean? Well in Rimu we had a... WRITING COMPETITION.

So what this means is that every student in Rimu class made a piece of writing these were either Mysteries, Poems or News reports! But here's the catch we need YOUR help that's right YOUR help. How would you like to be a judge for Rimu well we need some of you to click and vote on whos piece of writing is the best!

Here's what makes our writing different from others! So every day we have to sign in and to do this we theres a new instruction every day for an exsample it will be what is your eye colour then in our box we would write what it is so this day what we did was type in the first things that come into our head when we think of brain. Then we needed to use some of those words in our writing.
OH by the way the voting ends in week 5 Friday the 21st of August 3:00pm so get those votes in quick!

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! If you got the chance to enter into the writing competition what one of the three types of writing would you choose?
Do you have any way that you sign into things like we do every day?
What's the first word that comes into your head when you think of brain? ( Mine was knowledge )

Story Time With Maddie

Kia Ora!

The list!

What is the list well in this world there is a list of words that slowly and slowly becomes shorter and shorter. There is no words like ants or butterflies they have all been cut out and replaced with insects and that is all you can say.
All of the children there have forgotten about those words and each year the list slowly gets cut down and cut down and now there are only 500 words that you can use. But theres a catch, theres wordsmiths their job is to go out away from this world in search of new words and to create word boxes one for each child to learn about the new words each year.

How many words do you need to survive. This world is called ark. This word smith is a young girl name Letta. The list of words cuts down and down until they have to speak in almost a new language. Look at all of those ants becomes Lots of insects. Letta begins to wonder what if one day there will be no more words to speak. She watches as the language slowly slips away.

Want to find out more? Read about it! This story I have been reading is called The List by Patricia Forde

What Is Resilience?

Kia Ora and Welcome to my blog!

What is resilience?
Resilience is having  toughness or having self control so whatever happens to you you are able to bounce back! For an exsample say you have a spring, No matter how far and how long you stretch it the spring always bounces back but the thing is that each time you stretch the spring it grows a little more each time and becomes a little longer. This means that you will be able to learn from what happens and also be able to move on that's what Resilience is .

Sources

Reflection
I think that my Resilience is around a 7/10 so far I think that I need to improve in some things I think a way I can do this is to have more confidence and to rely in myself more. I would like to improve on my resilience!! How can you improve on yours?

Thank you for coming onto my blog please come back again!
What did you learn?
Do you have resilience?
What was a way that reselince has helped you?

Quality Blog Commenting!

Kia Ora and Welcome to my blog!

Every tuesday the lovely Miss Morgan come into our classroom after last break to teach us all  about cybersmart and the huge wide web around us!
I worked in a group with Dion and Albin cheek out their blogs to find out more.

We had to watch a few videos about each area of the slides to understand exactly what we are going to do.
The past two weeks we have been working through a Google Slide all about how to address what a comment has and how we can improve it. There was an image of a comment on someone's blog and we got the amazing job to locate what that comment had and what it can improve on.
This was our favorite comment we did together

Because it is a little hard to read here is what the comment says.
Kia Ora Tevini, We are Albin, Maddie and Dion from Yaldhurst Model School.
You're facts about him are very interesting I really liked how you put in that black panther was the first black character in mainstream comics.
We haven't seen the movie but it sounds super cool and if we get a chance we would definitely check it out sometime.
Maybe next time you could re read and make sure to add in capital letters and full stops but this was still a super cool blog post!
What sparked your interest in black panther? When did you first watch the movie?
Thanks!
-Maddie, Dion and Albin from Yaldhurst

Reflection!
I think that this is going to help me alot with improving my future blog commenting that the entire Rimu class does very week. I think that this would help me now because I know what makes a comment good and what  I would need to improve on. It has also given be ideas on what a good blog comment looks and sounds like. I enjoyed this activity although it didn't teach me much but it did make me understand more.

Thank You all so much for coming onto my blog please come back on here again and I would love to see all of your wonderful comments.

Do you like blog commenting?
What's something I could improve on?
What does a quality comment mean to you ?

James Clear!

Kia Ora and welcome back to my blog!

This week we have been learning about James Clear and some of his strategies to get us into good learning habits! Some of them that we learnt about -
Start incredibly small
Start in less than 2 minutes
Improve by 1% each day
Seinfeld Strategy - don’t break the chain.

I will be focusing and sharing with you how to start in less than 2 minutes and how this works. This habit stops procrastination and makes sure you at least start the habit your working on.
James Clear is almost a mentor as he studies and reads about lots of different ways we can get better at things then shares them in an easy way for us to learn about and understand. To read the article written by James Clear about this Strategy click here!

Reflecton!
I am happy with what I have learnt about it and I have also been focusing on this strategy in my everyday life so it has been making things a lot easier for me. It has made me be able to see and focus on my goals a lot better.

I have found this entire process super interesting and useful for day to day life! I hope you guys all learnt something new and maybe you could share something onto your blog about James Clear and another one of his strategies.
What is a way that you could use this in your life?
What is something you want to find more about that has to do with one of the four topics me and my class learnt about?
What would be the most useful habit for you?

Matariki Kites Task Three

Kia Ora!
Welcome back to my blog!

Back at it again with another Matariki matrix blog post!
This blog is going to be about the Matariki kites and how they represent Matariki and what it means. These Kites are a bit different then normal kites and we have one that looks like a Maori kite in one of our classes.

I really enjoyed making this it was awesome to understand what it means to use these kites.
I am going to be sharing a few things that I have learnt after I have researched all about the Matariki Kites. I have also been looking into the different types of kites.

I have made a short DLO getting straight to the point on what I learnt about these kites, I found out most of my infomation using a piece of text ( Link ) and then thinking and researching further into this. There's a lot of different

My Reflection.
I Think that I have created this very well this is because I got straight into the point and I understood everything really well. I also think that this is a good way to share this and I think that it would be a great idea for you guys to pass on the message about the Matariki kites to share about others cultures.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope you all come back again soon. Did you learn something new? I hope you enjoyed it and I would love to see some of your guys comments!

Christchurch Symphony Orchestra At YMS!

Kia Ora!
My name is Maddiosn and welcome back to my blog
. Today at Yaldhurst we had a special visitor coming to yaldhurst. It was the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.

They had way less people than the original Orchestra usually there can be around 60- 100 people depending on the song. We learnt about the different families of instruments. There is a family of strings with things like Violin or the Cello. Then there is the Woodwind family with Flutes and Clarinets ( squidward in spongebob plays this instrument ) and finally there is Bass with Tubas and Trumpets. They are names these things based of the how the sound is made.

My favorite instrument shown was the Harp.
What I learnt about the harp. You have to pluck the strings to make noise and vibration. There is pedals so using the pedals you can make evernote ( there is 12 all together ) sound different so every note can be used in three different ways. Finally the strings are all different colours so you can tell what one is a c note or an f note.
I learnt that the bigger the instrument is the lower the sound can make and the smaller the instrument is the higher the pitch and the noise is.
Did you know that most musicians have to learn to play piano before other instruments for training.

Here are some of the videos of the music we have heard if your a Harry Potter or Star Wars fan you might enjoy these.

My Reflection! I really enjoyed this even though I don't usually listen to this type of music before. I enjoyed this because it opened my world into a whole different element of music and how the instruments worked to make sounds. The instruments really depend on the vibration. My favorite part was learning about the harp or hearing the Harry Potter song that they played, It was awesome seeing the different notes the instruments could play and how different note could make you feel.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! I hope you all come back again and have enjoyed this. What's your favorite song? What area of music do you enjoy? do you play any different musical instruments? If yes how long have you been playing for?

Matariki Matrix Activity Two! The Matariki Stars!

Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog! This is another one of the Matariki work I have been working on!

Stars.... but these are not just normal stars but the amazing nine stars of Matariki but wait theres more I have coloured them in and made the stars look like what they mean, If you would like to see this click the DLO below

What do each of the stars mean, Link, Click that to get more infomation and detail about each one of
I have really enjoyed this on, I feel like this because it gave me a chance to be super creative and show how I see the Matariki stars and how I can make them my own.

I have made sure that they are all represented correctly and that its bright colourful and fun. My favorite star I made was 8. This is because I think that it is shared in a simple way but you can understand it easier then the others without reading about it first.

What I learnt! Well of course I learnt about what each of the stars mean but to go into more detail I now understand and know how to show what they mean. I now understand why Matariki is so important and how each star shines very brightly.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog, again keep an eye out for all of the other Matariki blogs that will be coming, to give you a clue ( the next one will have something to do withhhhhhhh Kites! ) How have you been celebrating Matariki? Do you have a favorite star? What was your favorite star that I made?

Matriki Task One!

Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog!

This couple of weeks we have been learning about Matariki and what it means. We are following the learn create share rule to complete tasks and then share them with others to keep the cycle going. First we learn about a topic to do with Matariki. Then the next step is to make something sharing what we learnt then we can finally share that with others to share infomation that we have learnt in a creative and interesting way.

This time it was simple a quick 5 things that I have learnt from the text I have read. I have shared this in a DLO so it is easy for others to understand. This idea was easy to grasp and figure out quickly.
Text I read.

This is the DLO I have made.

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! You will be seeing more Matariki post shortly. There is a total of 4 activities I need to do ( the next one has something to to with the stars of Matariki ) Please check them out soon and stay tuned in if you would like to find out more.

Graphs About Rimu

Kia Ora!

Welcome back to my blog!
Before we get into the work that I have been doing I would like to thank you all for coming onto my blog!

Graphs! I feel like we are all familiar with this word there are tons and tons or graphs from pie graphs to line and dot graphs!
Well I just learnt how to make a proper graph on google sheets it's super easy and fast! If you don't know how to do this please click here and you can follow the same tutorial as I did!

I have created two graphs one about what type of eye colour everyone has and what type of Responsibility trait they want to work on.

My Graph!!!

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog and I hope you all enjoyed it! What did you think of this? What eye colour do you have? Have you made a graph on google sheets before? If so what was it about?

How To Get To Know Me The Right Way!

Kia Ora!
My Name Is Maddison!

Me and my class went through a slide right? Guess what after that we read that  slide we knew everything we needed to know about copyright images and when we can use them and when we cant. We should always link back and give credit to the images that you use online otherwise it is just like stealing! There's this site called unsplash and it was free images for download! Link To Unsplash!
To learn about copyright we all created a drawing with 12 squares with things about us using images from unsplash!

THIS IS MINE!

My reflection!
I had so so so much fun creating this I find it super interesting that you can learn so much about me in only a few pictures !
I think that I need to make some of the text bigger so it is easier to read and to understand. Something I think that I did well was making sure that it was colourful and eye catching but I think everything would look so much more neat and tidy if I choose a colour theme to follow. Something I found challenging was finding the correct pictures that add colour and get to the point easy!

Thanks a lot for coming onto my blog! I really appreciate it ! I hope you can all come back again soon I would love to read your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments.
What did ya think? :D
Have you learnt about copyright before?
Whats is sometime new you learnt?
What should I improve on? :))

Here's What's Cool For ME!

Kia Ora!
Welcome!

In our class we have something like a set of rules this is called here's what's cool in Rimu! It tells us what we need and how we can make Rimu a good environment for everyone. But now we need to work on what is cool for all of us individually. We have narrowed it down to 10 or 11 points of what we need from each other to keep us happy and to make sure we can learn to the best of our ability.
After lockdown this is a good thing to look at to make sure that we are getting what we need.

The processes.
Steep one! First we made a new slide and wrote down everything that came to mind on what we might need.
Steep two! We all got down onto the mat and read out all of ours to give others more ideas.
Steep three! We completely cut down all of  them to leave only ten or eleven.
Steep four! We made sure that all of our notes started with a verb and were presented in a positive way.
Steep five! We added in a background that was all connected to each others in a way and made it colourful and bright.

To help us choose these we all learnt about rights and responsibilities.
A right is something you have and deserve and a responsibility is something you do to keep this right. For an exsample we all have the right to hear instructions on the mat your responsibility is to listen and keep quiet otherwise your taking away someone else's right

I need all of these things to make sure I can focus and learn easier these will be printed out and placed somewhere around where I work so my classmates and others can help give me what I need and I can help give them what they need.

This Is My Heres What`s Cool!

Thank you all so much for coming onto my blog! What are your opinions on this? What is something I can do to make sure my blogs are getting better? What is something that you need from your classmates to help you learn much better.

B-B-BUBBLES

Kia Ora Bloggers!
Welcome.

Today I will be sharing my bubble work! You can do this on either black or white paper. What you do it you use colour, shapes and shading to create a 3D effect. I have done mine on black paper. The cool thing about this is that they all look different  and you can use any colour you want! They usually look really good and clear from far away but not always up close. The way we all learnt how to do this was by watching a few videos. I will link them and add in some other photos if you would like to try this for yourself.

I think that everyone should have a go at this its super easy and it has such a cool finish to it. I have really enjoyed making mine and I think that a tip is to make sure to only move your pencil in curves not straight lines otherwise it takes away some of the affect.

My Process! I found this work pretty easy this is because the videos made it easy to understand and showed me many exsamples. What I did first was pick out my colours once I did this I basically added lots of curved lines then I went in with the white shading and small pops of colour.

Kia Ora and welcome to my blog!
Just before I get into this weeks blog post please remember to stay home and stay safe.
Don't you love getting new learning tools to use? Well I do and this is one of our new learning tools that we can access online and I have been really enjoying it. So I have created a DLO to share some of the main features about it.

My reflection.
I have really enjoyed creating this and I am proud of my DLO.
I think one thing that I could have done better is maybe created a video as well of me sharing more about it.
I have started to always make my DLOs first now for my Blogs I find it a lot easier and I think that I ill continue doing it.
