My Tiny House

Kia Ora bloggers! before I start with what I have done thank you for coming on my blog!
In Rimu we have been making a tiny house for maths, you could work with a buddy or by yourself I worked with my friend Abby, I have reflected on how it turned out and have taken lots of photos.


This is a photo of my Rough draft which was my favorite part overall.

These are the area and perimeter of the base, walls, and roof. we also had to do the area and perimeter of the tiny furniture.

The outside of my tiny house, this is the outside of my tiny house.

This is a picture of us working on mine and Abby's tiny house, it was very challenging gluing down the walls and furniture to the base.

This is my final version of our tiny house, it was very rewarding to see the final product and draw the final touches. I really enjoyed making tiny houses.

My reflection, this is what I think of the standard and quality of my work and what I found challenging.

  to clear up what I said in these pictures I said what I found challenging. What I found challenging was sticking the tiny furniture   down to the base and doing the same with the walls I really enjoyed making my rough draft and talking about it and what we are going to next with my friend Abby, the photo on the bottom is  how I  think I did with my slide and my tiny house.

Area and Perimeter, to involve making tiny houses with maths we had to do area and perimeter to do that you need to count and add and use your knowledge timetables.
Area:  to do area you need to use times table, Esample: for an exsample I will use a  couch it has 4 squares on the top and bottem and 2 squares on the right and left side so you have to times 4 and 2, 4 x 2 = 8 so the area is 8!
Perimeter: to do perimeter you have to use addition for an example I will use a couch again, so again there is 4 squares on the top and bottom and 2 squares on the left and right side, so you have to add 4+4+2+2, 4+4+2+2 = 12 so 12 is the perimeter!
