Discovering our heritage

In Rimu we have been learning a lot about us and the Mauri culture and Te Reo. These are some of the more reascent things I have been doing like we have to learn new words and practice them with a friend and recorded it, we also can do a connect 4 grid of activities these are some of mine.

The first one I did was how to prepare a Hangi.

Second I made a Marae, I made mine on google slides using shapes and lines. please comment down below what you thought about my marae and another learning tool that I could use.

I also video with my buddies, we had to practice the new words and sentences we learned in Te Reo, I found this challenging in some parts because it is hard to pronounce some words and use them in the right ways.

Thank you again for coming onto my blog and please leave me some feedback.

Kind regards, From Maddison.

  1. Hi Maddie,

What great pictures. I love your creativity using google draw. The information on how to make a hangi is really clear. You could try and persuade your teachers to have one with the class. I bet it would be yum. Have you ever had a hangi?

I am glad to read that you keep persevering with your learning of Te Reo even though it can be difficult.
