Summer Learning Journey Day 1 Setting Sail

Kai Ora!

Today will be the first day of the summer learning journey. I found this activity quite interesting because there is a lot of different types of food that do different types of things.
I really enjoyed thinking about all of the different types of food and learning about other types of people opinions on what to bring and why.

I also really really enjoyed making the title page because I think that it matched the entire theme of the infomation in the blog post. I did find it a bit challenging to make this post very creative. But I still am happy and proud of my blog.

Please come back to my blog again and leave a good positive thoughtful helpful comment down below and I promise that I will reply to all of them. Thank you so much for coming onto my my blog and please come back again.

  1. Hi there Maddie, It's Abby from Yaldhurst School.

I like the way you spent time making your post eye catching so people will choose to comment on this post.

This reminds me of mine, I personally didn't do most of these things because they either go off fast or I just didn't think of some of the foods.

Since you won't a a fridge things like berries, bread, lettuce, muffins and sandwiches or wraps would go off after a week. Depending on how long your journey is you might not have enough food.

What is your favourite snack for long trips?

    Kind regards,
    Abby.

  2. Morena Maddison,

Great work on completing your first Summer Learning Journey activity. I am excited to read your posts over the holidays.

Wow, what a cool slide you have made with some great images to go with them. Great stuff for remembering to attribute your images! Keep up with awesome work.

You have thought of some great items to take on a long voyage. Have you thought about how you would store things like meat if you didn't have a fridge? What is something you could take to keep it cool for as long as possible?

Yum, I love pretzels for snacking on however once I start eating them, I can't stop!

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  3. Hi Maddie! It's Mia here from Yaldhurst. Great work! I really liked your title page as well as the colorful pages with images, good job on attributing them!

Hmm! I think that some of those foods will be good on a long voyage, maybe you could choose pickles! Or some fermented things. I don't think I would choose fresh fruits though. Which one of those foods are your favorite?

I don't really have anything for you to improve on. You could try to use some sites instead of just google presentations, but that's just and idea.

    Awesome work!
    Mia
